On Friday night, according to Raleigh police a man died after his vehicle hit three other vehicles at the intersection of Lynn and Leesville roads
Anthony Darnell Brown, 49, of Raleigh, was driving west on Lynn Road when the tires of his 2005 Toyota hit the curb. His vehicle then went straight through a red light into the intersection with Leesville Road and crashed into a 2013 Hyundai rental vehicle driven by Cathy A Molchin, of Illinois who was stationary while waiting to make a right turn onto Leesville Road.
Police said that Brown’s vehicle then continued and hit a second vehicle occupied by Phyllis Eaton McLeod which was driving through the intersection. His Toyota then overturned and hit another vehicle driven by Alaaeldin Aboushady which was also stationary, waiting to turn onto eastbound Lynn Road.
Brown died in the accident, and according to the accident report released by Raleigh police, he was also suffering from a medical condition.
None of the other drivers involved in the accident were injured.
